With five days to go to the start of competition, please find attached the Start List for the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships. This is now absolutely final – do not come to us requesting changes please.
Furthermore please note the following.
- CWF Annual General Meeting – 24th August – 9.00am in the morning – Venue: Crowne Plaza Hotel. Only two delegates from each country may attend.
- Technical Meeting – 24th August – 11.00am in the morning – Venue: Crowne Plaza Hotel. Please all technical officials are to attend this meeting.
- Opening Ceremony – 24th August – at 5.30pm Venue: Veer Savarkar Sports Complex, Ahmedabad
Finally, we have always had problems with belts not being regulation size – 12 cm. Please note in order not to have issue when the belts are checked, make sure that all your lifters have the correct belt size.
